Who will take Australia's Richest Weigh-for-Age Prize ?

Strategically placed on the racing calendar between the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup, the Cox Plate has become a race of great importance and prestige. It is regarded as the best weight-for-age race in Australasia and one of the most exciting race days in the world.

The Big Names...

Princess Coup ($4.50)

This mare's form has been pretty solid as she heads into the $3,050,000 race. With two wins in the last month, Coup seems to be peaking at the right time of the race season. Will Kiwi trainer Mark Walker have her ready to go when it counts?

Samantha Miss ($4.80)

After Samantha Miss cut a swathe through the 3yo series in Sydney with her last-start win on slow ground in the Flight Stakes at Randwick, punters are warming to her becoming the first three-year-old filly to win the great race in more than 30 years. Can the Sydney filly make history?

Weekend Hussler ($4.80)

Hussler will have a tough week, as this race comes only a week after his Caulfield Cup run. However, after equalling the record for most Group One wins in a single season last year, this gelding should never be underestimated. And he's better suited to this distance... so watch out!
