Mad Rush ($5.00)

This US bay horse leads a large international invasion that continues to come to Flemington to steal a little Aussie pride. He will, however, be ridden by a local legend, as Damien Oliver - a two-time Cup winner - will be on his back. Can Oliver go one within history with a win in 2008?

Septimus ($6.00)

With rain refusing to fall, this Irish bay has moved out to second in the pack. However, no one will underestimate horse. He's put together quite a resume and comes to Flemington in great form. There's still time for the heaven's to open, but even if the track's dry, Septimus may rule supreme.

Profound Beauty ($7.00)

Glenn Boss will be looking for racing to immortality, as he aims to ride a fourth Melbourne Cup winner. And the big punters have backed him and this Irish bay. The odds have closed in as heavy bettors are taking a chance on this 'Beauty'. Do they know something others don't?
