Bulldogs and Sea-Eagles to battle it out at Brookvale

The Bulldogs have failed to disappoint this year. They have performed against all opposition with the same hard-working mentality. In the last month they have had an amazing run beating the Cowboys, Panthers and the Brisbane Broncos.

In the last month they have had an amazing run beating the Cowboys, Panthers and the Brisbane Broncos. Their opposition may have been without some of their players due to Origin but the Bulldogs kept biting and have found themselves a win away from being joint top-of-the-table with the Dragons, a position that they have had all year and one they have deserved.

The Bulldogs will go into tonight’s clash without the likes of B.Hannant and J.Idris as they recover from injury, being replaced by J.Hickey and D.Millard. On the up-side “Noddy” has been chosen to save NSW from a 3-0 defeat to Queensland in State of Origin Game three. This will surely bring more confidence to the veteran half and will no doubt be looking to make an impact in tonight’s match.

The Sea-Eagles have had a “topsy-turvy” season to say the least. They started the season as reigning premiers; however with some off-field dramas and a long-term injury to Stewart they were dwindling in the lower half of the ladder. The last four weeks has been pivotal to the resurrection of their season. With the help of two byes and three wins on-the-trot they are now sitting in ninth place with a win tonight moving them into a congested top eight.

Manly are back, not to their best but they are back. Tonight’s match-up will be a good test for the Sea-Eagles to see where they are at, the Bulldogs have been on top of the comp looking down for some time and will be hoping to brush aside the Sea-Eagles at Brookvale to further their efforts in winning the minor premiership.

Will the Sea-Eagles continue their recent run of form and battle out a victory against the Bulldogs at Brookvale or will the Bulldogs clip the high-flying wings of the Sea-Eagles?
