Centrebet media chief Neil Evans announced today that a “live” Under/Over Line will be operating for every over bowled in the Ashes showdown, as well as Under/Over Lines for every batsman in every innings! “Now ‘live’ punters will be able to back how many runs come in each over, how many runs a player makes, and how he is likely to get out,” Evans said. “It’s the biggest bookmaking commitment by an Australian-based operator in history!
“In all, we will have nearly 100 separate markets from team and individual totals, over sessions and a full day’s play, as well as ‘How Out’ markets, innings leads, the first batsmen to make 50 or a century, and every player and team market imaginable!”

“The Lee injury, and the fact Australia’s top order could easily be unsettled on the bouncy home wickets, has led to a big turnaround,” Evans said. “Australia will go in as favourite in all books, but nowhere near the dominant side some punters may have thought a while back!”
