The big money has swung heavily back Geelong’s way on Centrebet in the last 48 hours after punters initially lapped up the opening $2.33 quote about minor premier St Kilda which led to nearly all the first $30,000.00 traded going the Saints way!

The opening $1.91 Geelong Line has blown out from – 7.5 to – 9.5, with bets of $10,000.00 (-8.5) at $1.91, $2,000.00 (-7.5) at $1.91, $15,000.00 (-8.5) at $1.91 and $5,000.00 (-9.5) at $1.91!

Margin bets are also favouring Geelong, with one punter having $3,000.00 over 24.5 at $2.85, and another $2,000.00 (over 15.5) at $2.22, while there has been plenty of interest on the Cats by 20-39 at $4.55!

Earlier in the week, scores of bets from $1500.00 to $8,000.00 had been taken on St Kilda!

Brownlow medallist Gary Ablett remains Centrebet’s $5.50 favourite to land the Norm Smith Medal ahead of Saints skipper Nick Riewoldt ($9.00)!
