This Saturday on Centrebet, four Group 1 classics unfold at fabulous Flemington! The nation’s best three-year-olds rumble in the $1.5 million VRC Derby (2500m), the top weight-for-age gallopers line up in the MacKinnon Stakes (2000m), the Oaks-bound three-year-old fillies fight it out in the Wakeful Stakes (2000m), while Australia’s best sprinters charge down the Straight Six in the Salinger Stakes!
Flemington holds its own as place to be for the Races! Race 4 sees the running of the Coolmore Stud Stakes over 1200m. K Mc Evoy on board the Peter Snowden trained Demerit is a $6.00 favourite for the race but competition is going to be fierce with David Hayes' Irish Lights and the likes of Phelan Ready, Wanted and More Than Great to line up. This is without the mention of outside $10.00 chances: Headway and Paprika who will jump from barriers 12 and 13.
Race 5 is the $750,000 Mackinnon Stakes over 2000m. Rangirangdoo is the best backed and at the odds of 3.75 is definately the value. Coming off a great win last weekend in the Crystal Mile it is the horse to beat. Zipping, Scenic Shot, Vigor and Viewed will all have to work extremely hard if they are to break down Rangirangdoo over the 2000m. Viewed is a great outside chance at $9.00 with the inside barrier, it has been in winning form recently and will look to push the favourites to the line.

Shamoline Warrior was posted up early as the favourite and was well backed, however there has been some buzz surrounding the Danny O'Brian trained Rockferry which has closed in from $6.00 to $5.50 easing the Warrior out to $2.90!
It's an open race with quality right throughout. The two long-shots Commonage Close $101.00 and Prinsom $201.00 will need a miracle to finish in the top selections.
