The Melbourne Cup has come and gone and what a race it was...
The Bart Factor proved human and Mark Kavanagh got a well deserved victory coming off an until now a dis-heartening spring.
The racing doesn't stop there! The Bart Factor could yet reap more rewards and take another Group 1 prize home in the Crown Oaks.
Bart Cummings has in-form and well backed favourite Faint Perfume running out in the 2500m Crown Oaks on Thursday and if the Spring is anything to go by, punter's should be fairly safe with their money...
In saying this, there are other 3-year old fillies who definately deserve some thought; Silent Surround with the ever impressive Damien Oliver on board is great value ($7.50) as is Melito ($15.00) with Melbourne Cup winning jockey Corey Brown on back.
Faint Perfume ($1.65) is definately the horse to beat and should run out the distance with more ease than others.
