Shock Emirates Stakes winner All American ($6.50) and the talented Ortensia ($7.00) are on the second and third lines as eastern state invaders again prepare to dominate betting! The shortest WA runner is Grand Nirvana, who had little luck behind Elliotto in the Group 3 lead-up on the weekend, and is quoted at $8.50 on Centrebet, while Elliotto is considered a $14.00 shot!
Centrebet media chief and analyst Neil Evans said the first crop of bets in were for Ortensia at the $7.00! “That looks a good price, although he’ll need luck around the tighter Ascot circuit, but this should be a sensational betting race as the early market indicates,” Evans said.
Meanwhile, boom WA three-year-old Waratahs Secret has been backed to win $30,000.00 by one Perth punter on Centrebet ahead of the feature Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot on November 28!
“This one client has simply knocked up backing Waratahs Secret, plonking on scores of bets at the $5.50 and unloading nearly $6,000.00 to win $30,000.00!” Evans said. “He’s backed the star youngster from a fair way out, and came storming back in after his last-start romp as a hot favourite when he clocked a very slick time!”
Idyllic Prince and Victorian star Ortensia are on the second line at $6.00, ahead of veteran warrior Apache Cat and the talented Nicconi, both at $6.50.
MacKinnon Stakes winner Scenic Shot is a $4.40 All-In favourite on Centrebet to win the Kingston Town Classic (1800m) at Ascot on December 5 ahead of Vigor ($7.50)!
And Gai Waterhouse’s front-running star Faulconbridge is a $3.00 favourite on Centrebet to win tomorrow’s Listed Gosford Gold Cup (2100m).
