Black Caviar – Information & Next Race
Black Caviar is set to continue its record breaking run during the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival, attempting to do the impossible and go 14+ wins unbeaten. Black Caviar betting has been a cakewalk so far, with the great mare going 13 from 13 in her pursuit to overtake Phar Lap and Makybe Diva as the nation’s best.
Her next test is the Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield on October 8th – will she continue her winning form? As always Centrebet is here to offer all the Black Caviar betting odds you need as we marvel at this piece of racing history.
Black Caviar Next Race – Schillaci Stakes

HOW FAR WILL HER GREATNESS STRETCH!
Australia’s mighty unbeaten sprinting mare Black Caviar – attempting to make it 13 in a row in the Group 1 BTC Cup at Doomben on Saturday – is $3.50 on Centrebet to equal the great American galloper Zenyatta’s 19 straight wins and $2.60 to match Hong Kong’s sprinting king Silent Witness who won 17 in succession.
The bookmaker’s Neil Evans said despite the amazing unbeaten feats of this power sprinter, Black Caviar still had to be clear odds-on not to equal the winning streak of both horses.
“She may well do it, but off another mini break, she has to start again in a different state (Qld) in the BTC Cup this Saturday, then likely back up in the more competitive Doomben 10,000, have a longer break, come back in the Spring, and then more than likely equal the mark of Silent Witness at Hong Kong’s famous international day in December!” Evans said. “It’s some ask, and if it wasn’t the professional machine that is Black Caviar you’d swear we were cracking jokes!”
“But the more I think about it, the more I believe punters will launch into the $3.50 – that’s seven more wins to sit alongside Zenyatta, imagine the crowd then that rolls up when she’s chasing win number 20!”
Centrebet also has a head-to-head market on who gets beat first – Black Caviar or unbeaten UK three-year-old sensation Frankel who has won six from six and two weeks ago bolted in the 2000 Guineas over a mile by six lengths, at the same time brushing aside Black Caviar from the top of the global rankings! “This market is payback for Black Caviar being knocked off the top of world rankings by Frankel,” Evans added.
