HISTORY

Since it's inception in 1992, the English Premier League has grown into one of the elite football leagues in the world. This in spite the fact that four teams have dominated the League for the past fifteen years. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have become known as 'the Big Four' due to their consistent ability to finish near the top. Meanwhile, each year the bottom three get dropped - relegated - to the Championship and are replaced by the top three Championship sides. This season sees West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Hull City enter the Premier League, while Reading, Birmingham City and Derby County were unfortunately relegated.

Can anyone finish ahead of reigning champions, and ten time winners, Manchester United? Will the Big Four be pierced by an over-performing second-tier team? Who will get the axe from the top twenty after this season? Only the play on the pitch can tell!
