Euroleague Regular Season games
The competition consisted of a round robin system with each team playing 14 games between 3 November 2003 and 19 February 2004. All games were played on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the competition.
Top 16 teams
The top 5 teams from each group plus the single best sixth-placed team advanced to the top 16. From 3 March 2004, to 8 April 2004, the 16 teams were placed in 4 groups of 4 teams. A round robin competition of 6 games for each club determined the top team in each group reducing the group to the 'Final Four'.
Final Four competition
From 29 April 2004 to 1 May 2004 the Final Four played off for the Euroleague championship. This year's winner was Maccabi Tel Aviv from Israel.
